Libraries are part of the circular economy. We are a ‘Green Library’. In the foyer you will find a book swap, seed share, wool share, knitting needle share, jigsaws and magazines to take away.
We have recycling facilities for blister packs, ink cartridges, bras, household batteries and toothbrushes. We have an information point for health and cultural activities, and we are a collection point for the foodbank. Lastly we act as a central point for village organisations to sell tickets for community events.
The Repair Café
The Repair Café meets once a month to mend items that would otherwise go to landfill.
